TIP: You don't have to go to a souvenir shop to buy souvenirs. You will find that most Dollar Stores and department stores in the area also carry Niagara Falls or Canada themed souvenirs at a fraction of the cost of souvenir shops.
It is obvious that a tourist location such as Niagara Falls would offer lots of souvenir shops so that tourists will be able to purchase a keepsake to remind them of their vacation in this area.
As a resident of Niagara Falls, I know the very best places for you to purchase your souvenirs
at a price that won't hurt your pocket book!
I usually stumble across these locations accidentally, when I'm looking for something else.
I would have to say the very cheapest place to purchase souvenirs is a little shop called Centre Gift Shop. It is located almost directly across from No Frills Grocery Store on Lundy's Lane. There, you will be able to purchase miniature Canadian Mounties for as low as $2.00. I discovered this place when I was shopping for Boyd's Bears. They advertise 80% off of Boyd's Bear collectibles, and they are not kidding. So if you collect those adorable little bears, it's a good place to go as well.
You will find souvenir shops at almost every attraction in Niagara Falls.
Clifton Hill has several, and you will find a souvenir shop in Table Rock . These are a little more costly, but if you don't want to leave the main tourist area, you really can't help but stumble across at least one on your travels.
A very popular souvenir shop in Niagara Falls is a place called Souvenir City . It is located at 4199 River Road, and it would be a great place to stop on your way to the Butterfly Conservatory or Niagara Glen. This store has a lot to offer from candles, clocks, chocolate, maple syrup, Native art, stained glass, gourmet gifts and sauces...and the list goes on. It's a fun place to just look around as well.

American's who visit the Canadian side of the Falls are often very surprised to discover that many of stores shut down early on weekends, and some stores don't open until noon on Sunday. You should be aware of this before you venture into Canada, so that you come prepared.
We have run into many frustrated tourists who show up at Wal-Mart at 8:00 p.m. on a Sunday and discover that it's closed.
WHERE TO SHOP
Well, you've made it Niagara Falls only to discover that you've forgotten your jacket, and it's a little cooler than you expected it to be. No need to worry, as there are several places to shop within the City and plenty more within a 20 minute drive.
Canada One Factory Outlets is an outlet mall located right on Lundy's Lane. It consists mostly of brand name stores. I've gotten great deals here on a few occasions, but other times I've visited, prices seem to have been inflated. It's still a great place to check out.
Niagara Square is a little mall located within the City of Niagara Falls. It currently has about 70 stores, so you should be able to find something suitable.

Sat 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Sun 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
The Pen Centre is Niagara's largest shopping destination. This mall features about 180 stores, so it is significantly larger than the Niagara Square. It is a great mall for the fashion enthusiast.
Directions: Take Highway 420 to the QEW (Toronto bound). Exit at Thorold Stone Road and travel west through the Welland Canal Tunnel and follow signs for Highway 406 St. Catharines and exit at Glendale Avenue. Turn left under the 406 and the Pen Centre is on your right.

Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
